We start our list with Kenny "kennyS" Schrub. The inactive French 26-year-old player most recently played for G2 Esports. Before his career in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, where he shined, he also played Counter-Strike: Source. The tremendous performance of the AWPer with Team EnVyUs at DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015 is still remembered as if it just happened yesterday. He is known as one of the most recognizable players in Counter-Strike esports history. His name comes from Nike Shox shoes. While thinking about a name for his career, he decided to make the name of the shoes he was wearing at that moment his own nickname.

HLTV named shox the 3rd best player in 2013, 8th in 2014, 13th in 2015, and 6th in 2016. He is one of five players to have participated in all CS:GO Major Championships. The other four players are dev1ce, dupreeh, Xyp9x and olofmeister.

4. Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive)

27-year-old French player Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt has been competing in the esports scene since Counter-Strike: Source.
