In general, most of the teams that are considered as successful are based in Europe, NA, and sometimes Russia in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. But this Czech team with big potential is going to change some opinions about big regions in the years to come.

They have been considered as one of the top 10 teams of CS:GO by a lot of websites. It is a wonderful success to achieve by coming from an unexpected place.

It is time to talk about how Entropiq performed in two years and what is waiting for us in the following years.

Foundation and first tournaments

Professional Czech esports team was founded on January 25, 2020 and joined CS:GO esports on August 19. Initially, their main purpose was to be a dominant team in Czech and Slovak esports. They have succeeded more than this by joining and winning global tournaments.

They have mentioned their name firstly in Funspark ULTI 2021: Europe Season 2 by winning the tournament between strong teams such as Dignitas, MAD Lions, and ENCE. The team won against Lyngby Vikings by 2-0 in the Grand Final and this brought a $15,000 prize to the team.

Their next success was European Development Championship Season 4. Entropiq completed Group B as a non-defeated team and matched with Trident Clan in the Quarterfinals. By beating them 2-0, they moved to the Semifinals to play against Sangal Esports. They found the win again and they put Double Poney out of Grand Final by winning 2-1.

They have also joined the Intel Extreme Masters Season XVI - Fall: CIS and finished at 3rd place. They lost to the future winner of tournament Gambit Esports in the Semifinals and got $8,000 prize with 2188 RMR Points.

After this tournament, the team also participated in PGL Major Stockholm 2021 but finished at 9th-11th place with winning $17,500.

V4 Future Sports Festival - Budapest 2021 was a great tournament for them since they completed the tournament in 2nd place and won $67,691.62 prize, which is the highest prize they have won in their history. They successfully completed their group stage as 1st and moved directly to the Semifinals. The team won against Team Fiend and matched with Gambit Esports in the Grand Final. In this match with Bo5, Entopiq once again lost to Gambit Sports in the finals with 3-2.

The second highest prize that Entropiq had in their history was Funspark ULTI 2021. They became the owner of $50,000 and got their ticket for Funspark ULTI 2022. Entropiq lost against Gambit Esports in the final stage once again.

New season review

According to gosugamers.net, Entropiq belongs to the 9th standing in the list of CS:GO Rankings. Also, HLTV shows Entropiq as the 10th team on their world ranking. Even though the team was created in 2020 for being a powerful team in their main region, they reached more than that by performing well in tournaments and even showing themselves on the final stages of big tournaments.

Entropiq created a brand new team on 2021 May. Czech players leckr, capseN, AJTT, HONES and MoriiSko left the team and also the Slovakian coach d0di was not a part of the team anymore. This was a brave step for team and here is their active player roster:

All of these players and the coach were part of the EPG Family (formerly known as the ex-Winstrike Team). They joined Entropiq on May 10, 2021. Additionally, XomA and Dart signed as assistant coach and manager.
