Dota Pro Circuit 2021-22 Tour 1: Division 1 tournaments are finally over. We’ll recap what happened and see which teams qualified for Regional Finals. Speaking of Regional Finals, you may wonder what they are.

The majors were cancelled for this tour, but following the backlash from the fans this decision was reversed and a series of Regional Finals will be played among the top teams instead.

The lineup will look like this:

Four teams each from Western Europe and China
Three teams each from Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia
Two teams each from North America and South America

DPC WEU 2021/22 Tour 1: Division I (DreamLeague Season 16)

Team Liquid leaves the tournament with a 6-1 W/L and will start the Regional Finals in the top spot of WEU participants. They are followed into the Regional Finals by Team Tickles, Tundra Esports and OG.

With 6 tiebreaker matches just like the SEA region the whole tournament was a series of close-calls between OG, Team Secret and Nigma Galaxy. OG managed to break the ties and qualify for the Regional Finals.

Alliance and Coolguys are relegated to Division II, while Team Secret and Nigma Galaxy will keep their places in the current division.

DPC EEU 2021/22 Tour 1: Division I recap

Ex-bloc tournament was particularly high stakes, The roster contained legendary teams and last year’s winner of The International 2021. It was boggled with controversy from its beginning too with Valve having to change the official logo of the tour because it didn’t fit into the Ukraine’s laws about Communism.

Team Spirit, the winners of The International 2021, didn’t surprise us with a score of 7-0. Rest of the tournament was a battle between HellRaisers, Virtus.pro and PuckChamp vying for the second place. A tiebreaker match between Virtus.pro and HellRaisers resulted in a win in favor of Virtus.pro, yet we congratulate HellRaisers, a relatively new team going head to head with the legendary Virtus. At the end they all managed to qualify for the Regional Finals.

Mind games fought for its survival and managed to stay in the current division along with NAVI.

Team Empire and AS Monaco Gambit are relegated to the lower division.

DPC NA 2021/22 Tour 1: Division I (ESL One Winter 2021) recap

Quincy Crew (not a Bleach reference but named after Norfolk County, Massachusetts) were the top contender of DPC NA. They are followed by Team Undying, Evil Geniuses and 4 Zoomers into the Regional Finals.

Wildcard Gaming and simply TOOBASED will keep their place in the current division.

Arkosh Gaming and Black N Yellow performed poorly (both have 1-6 results overall) and are relegated to Division II for the next tour.

DPC SA 2021/22 Tour 1: Division I recap

Thunder Predator dominated the tour with a whopping 7-0 W/L compared to the second place Infamous’s 5-2 results. Two teams along with beastcoast and APU King of Kings will qualify for the Regional Finals.

Teams Lava and Hokori will stay in the current division and NoPing e-sports along with SG esports will be relegated to the lower bracket.

This tour was a very close one among the contenders and scores were almost even all the time as you can see in the table below.

We held our breath until the last moment and there were 6, I repeat.. SIX tiebreaker matches at the end of the tour. The results are: BOOM Esports, Fnatic, T1 and Team SMG, qualified for the Regional Finals.

Neon Esports and Execration managed to hold themselves in the current division against a close call with Motivate.Trust Gaming. MG.Trust along with underdog TNC Predator are relegated to Division II in the next tour.

DPC CN 2021/22 Tour 1: Division I (中国联赛S级) recap

Legendary PSG.LGD also didn’t surprise us with its 7-0 W/L. They almost won The International 2021 after all. They are followed into the Regional Finals with Royal Never Give Up, Team Aster and EHOME.

Vici Gaming and LBZS didn’t manage to enter the Finals but kept their place in the current division.

Invictus Gaming and Phoenix Gaming are relegated to the lower division.
