Here’s a look at Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz’s, formerly of the legendary Astralis roster, settings and gear and config.

dev1ce is currently playing for Ninjas in Pyjamas as an AWPer. A legend at the age of 26, he has won everything there is to win, including four Majors and two Major MVP titles.

Individually, he's undoubtedly the finest and most consistent player in the game, having won 18 MVP honours and placing in the top five on HLTV's Best Player of the Year list six years in a row.

dev1ce is a long time ZOWIE user when it comes to his mouse (sponsorship duh)

He used to play with a bigger and fatter ambidextrous ZOWIE FK+ but transitioned to a right-handed ergonomic ZOWIE EC2. He uses the discontinued TYLOO model with a red finish.

dev1ce uses BENQ XL2546 DIVINA PINK EDITION. One of the superb 240Hz competitive gaming monitors in the market currently with added side panels for more immersion. As a superhuman he could get full advantage of 240Hz refresh rate with his under 200ms reaction time.

Configuration

Now I don’t recommend going for a crosshair or a specific configuration because a pro using it.

Some use huge crosshairs whilst some only use a dot such as GeT_RiGhT back in the day. Pros constantly upgrade and change their settings and it’s all personal preference anyway so don’t dwell on it.

If you are a newbie though, I’d recommend using a dynamic crosshair in any FPS games you play just to have a frame reference.

Don’t forget, you could design the ugliest crosshair in the world and someone, somewhere will frag the hell out with it.
