A carnival-like CS:GO tournament kicks off in Brazil on December 17. The four team tournament will comprise of the leading teams of Brazil namely, Havan Liberty, MIBR, Sharks Esports, SWS Gaming.

Four leading Brazilian teams will compete for a prize of 200,000 BRL ($35,000). The tournament will end with the grand final to be played on December 21, and the winner will receive the grand prize of 110,000 BRL ($19,250).

CBCS Finals 2021 format

The tournament will feature a double elimination bracket format with all matches, except for the grand finals, being Bo3’s. The grand final will be Bo5, but the team from the upper bracket will have a map advantage.

The opening match of the CBCS Finals 2021 features Havan Liberty and SWS Gaming. We can say that Havan Liberty, which seems to be one step ahead in recent times, is the favourite; however, the match is expected to be quite a competitive one.

When we look at the MIBR and Sharks match, we see MIBR, which have made a name for themselves not only in Brazil but also in the world. Opposite them will be Sharks, known with some DreamHack success stories. Never an easy opponent for any team they face, MIBR seems to be the favourite side.
