The greatest League of Legends team on the planet has been confirmed after an extraordinary Worlds 2019 final in Paris.
Arguably the biggest esports event of the year saw G2 Esports vs FunPlus Phoenix in the final after more than a month of amazing LoL Worlds.
Who won LoL Worlds 2019?
FunPlus Phoenix were crowned LoL Worlds 2019 champions after a comprehensive 3-0 victory over G2.
EU team G2 enjoyed strong support on home soil at the AccorHotels Arena, but the Chinese team spoiled the party.
FunPlus Phoenix made a screaming start, racing to a 2-0 lead against their European rivals.
And, despite G2 taking first blood in game three, the Chinese team fought back to seal the whitewash.

Who was LoL Worlds final 2019 MVP?
The LoL Worlds 2019 final MVP award went to Tian, of FunPlus Phoenix.
G2 outclassed
G2 fans had high hopes heading into the LoL Words final, especially after such fine performances throughout the tournament.
But when the big day came, the Europeans wilted and FPX were ruthless to ensure the Summoner's Cup went back to China.
G2 tweeted to thank fans for their support.
FPX upset the odds
The win was predicted by Luckbox community member and League of Legends fan Boukev in is pre-match betting tips, as he opted for FPX to upset the odds.
G2 were slight favourites going in to the LoL Worlds 2019 final in Paris but there was very little to choose between the teams pre-match.
Throughout the LoL Worlds 2019 schedule, the two finalists have looked formidable, particularly in the playoff stage.
Both teams enjoyed 3-1 victories in the quarterfinals and the semifinals, G2 over DAMWON Gaming and SK Telecom T1 and FunPlus Phoenix over FNATIC and Invictus Gaming.
In the group stage, it was G2 who had the better record, winning five and losing one in Group A with Griffin, Cloud9 and Hong Kong Attitude. FunPlus Phoenix came through Group B with a record of four wins and two defeats up against Splyce, J Team and GAM Esports.
