VCT 2022 Stage 2: EMEA Challengers second week schedule and betting odds

VALORANT Champions Tour 2022’s second EMEA Challengers has started, and it was a great week for Turkish players. After the disappointing result last week, especially hearing that the Champions will be played in Istanbul, BBL Esports and the other Turkish players in EMEA really improved their games.

The winners of the first week were Acend, Fnatic, G2 Esports from Group A and Team Liquid, Guild Esports and BBL Esports from Group B. There weren’t any surprising results besides Fnatic taking down FPX and Guild defeating M3 Champions (Gambit) but we’ll get to that in a second. Let’s have a look at all the games.

The games of the first week

The first week started with BBL Esports vs Natus Vincere. Ascent, the first map, didn’t go too well for the Turkish side, since Cloud and dinkzj managed to keep them out of the sites and defeat them with ease. However, QutionerX’s amazing Chamber performance on Icebox kept BBL in the series with a 18-16 overtime win. This time, AsLanM4shadoW joined him with his Chamber while “quti” played Neon, and BBL finished the series with a 13-6 win on Fracture.

Following that, the first Champions winner Acend played against OG LDN UTD. The first map was an easy victory for Acend on Icebox, zeek’s KAY/O looked almost unstoppable. They moved on to Split, and OG managed to take them to overtime, but Acend finished it quickly with a score of 14-12.

One of the best games of the week was then played between Fnatic and FunPlus Phoenix. Fnatic started by dominating the last EMEA champion, 13-3 victory with Alfajer blowing up on Raze. It wasn’t a 26-8 performance but Alfajer played well on Ascent as well, but this time, FPX took the 13-5 dominating win. Once again, Alfajer was on top of his team playing Killjoy, and Fnatic defeated FPX 13-10 to put an end to this amazing series. You should watch the highlights on the link below.

Team Liquid took down BIG while ScreaM and Nivera played amazingly, 13-5 on Icebox and 13-7 on Split shows how confident they were. Guild Esports shocked M3 Champions, trexx put on an amazing show on both Ascent and Haven while his team reached an easy 2-0, M3 Champions failed to show any life signs.

Finally, G2 Esports faced FOKUS to end the week, defeating them 2-0 but struggled while doing that. hoody and nukkye popped off on Fracture but it did go to overtime, FOKUS just wasn’t able to finish the job. On Icebox, once again, FOKUS took the advantage but couldn’t close it, G2 finished it by winning five games in a row, 13-11.

There are amazing games coming up for the second week also. Have a look at the schedule below:

Obviously, the game between BBL Esports and Team Liquid looks interesting. Both these teams have started with a win and they want to keep doing that. FPX will try to bounce back against G2’s strong roster on the second day, and NAVI will face M3 Champions on the third day, as both teams have started very poorly.
