Let's take a look at what has happened so far in the tournament and the schedule for the Quarter-Finals.

Four groups are over. Playoffs begin.

With the end of the four groups, six players taking part in the playoffs have been determined. Let's take a quick look at the first four groups before we talk about the last four players that have a chance to advance to the playoffs.

Group A

Place Player W/L
1st TIME 2-0
2nd Zest 2-1
3rd Elazer 1-2
4th Rogue 0-2

In Group A, TIME took first place and Zest took second. TIME is currently number one on the ESL Pro Tour 2021/22: Standings in China and first place is guaranteed. He is guaranteed to be at IEM Katowice 2022.

Group runner-up Zest is currently fifth in the South Korea region. It remains unclear whether he will participate in IEM Katowice 2022. Elazer will be attending IEM Katowice 2022 from the play-in stage, whereas Rogue will start directly from the main stage as he ranks in the top of South Korea.

Group B

Place Player W/L
1st Maru 2-0
2nd Reynor 2-1
3rd HeRoMaRinE 1-2
4th RagnaroK 0-2

The winner of Group B, Maru, is currently third in the rankings in South Korea. He had already qualified directly for IEM Katowice 2022 by winning DHM Winter. Reynor, who finished second in the group, is currently third in the European standings, and is guaranteed to participate in IEM Katowice 2022 as he won DHM Summer.

Although HeRoMaRinE finished third in the group, he will start from the main stage because he ranks third in the European standings. For RagnaroK, this tournament was important. Had he been successful, he could move up the rankings in South Korea higher than sixteen. According to his current status, he will be on the play-in stage at IEM Katowice 2022.

Group C

Place Player W/L
1st Solar 2-0
2nd Dark 2-1
3rd Clem 1-2
4th MaxPax 0-2

Group C winner Solar is currently ranked seventh in South Korea and will definitely start IEM Katowice 2022 from the main stage. Dark is also fourth in South Korea, and he'll be starting IEM Katowice 2022 from the main stage.

Although Clem was eliminated from the tournament in third place, we will see him on the main stage as he is second in the European rankings. Same goes for MaxPax as well with his fifth place in Europe.

Group D

Place Player W/L
1. Cure 2-0
2. DRG 2-1
3. Serral 1-2
4. Dream 0-2

Cure secured the first position followed by DRG in second place. Serral, who won the DHM Fall and placed first in the European rankings, was the favourite of the group but couldn’t manage to pull off a win against DRG came in third place. Ranking sixth in Korea, Cure is the top contender of Group D with a 2-0 win/loss.
