The grand final journey of the unyielding TSM
Finishing third in Group C, TSM faced Ninjas in Pyjamas in the upper bracket round 1. They easily eliminated their opponents and advanced to the next round. Although they struggled a little against FURIA Esports, they were the winner with a score of 2-1. In the upper bracket semifinals, TSM's rival was Team Liquid. Winning both maps with 8-6 scores, TSM advanced to the upper bracket finals.
In the upper bracket final, they faced Team Empire. Losing 1-2, they found themselves in the lower bracket finals. Wanting to get another chance against Team Empire, TSM beat FaZe Clan 2-0 to reach the final.
Team Empire's comfortable journey to the grand final
Group A winner Team Empire faced Spacestation Gaming in the upper bracket quarterfinals. With an easy win, they advanced to the upper bracket semifinals. Their rival was Soniqs. Even though they lost the first match, they managed to even the score. In the last match, they won with a score of 7-0 and advanced to the upper bracket final.
They won 2-1 against TSM and advanced to the grand final. All that remained for them was to wait for their opponents from the lower bracket final.
TSM's amazing comeback
TSM faced Team Empire again in the grand final, which they lost in the upper bracket final. They took the first two maps of the Bo5 series. Although Team Empire countered and won a map, TSM won 3-1 with the victory in Villa map and became the champion of Six Invitational 2022. With this win, they won the full $1,000,000 grand prize.
