Today we are going to take a look at the top 5 European CS:GO teams of 2022, and see what they've been up to this year.
5. G2 Esports
Since its inception, G2 Esports has consistently managed to be one of the leading CS:GO teams. They have performed quite well this year, although it was not their best year.
They started the year with BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022 finishing 4th-6th. They then advanced to the grand final at IEM Katowice 2022, losing to FaZe Clan and finishing second. Their performance in ESL Pro League Season 15 was quite inadequate. Another notable achievement of them was the semifinals of BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022. They lost 1-2 against Team Vitality on the way to the grand final.

4. Team Vitality
Team Vitality continues to be one of the leading and beloved CS:GO teams with all its stability.
The French team started the year by finishing BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022 in the top three. They failed to perform as expected at IEM Katowice 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 15. Their biggest achievement this year was BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022. They were defeated in the grand final against NAVI and finished the tournament in second place.

3. Astralis
Third on our list is the Danish team Astralis. Although they have not won any championships this year, they have performed above average in almost all the tournaments they have participated in.
They started the year by getting the 5th-6th place at Funspark ULTI 2021. Astralis failed to show their desired performance in BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022, IEM Katowice 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 15. They performed far below expectations in PGL Major Antwerp 2022 as well. They then recovered and finished Pinnacle Cup Championship as runner-up, Roobet Cup and IEM Cologne 2022 semifinalist titles.

2. ENCE
ENCE used to not get that much attention in the past. They have been mesmerizing their fans with their recent performances.
Although they weren't very successful at IEM Katowice 2022, they got off to a good start to the year by second place in Pinnacle Winter Series #2. They made it to the semifinals of Elisa Invitational Winter 2021 as well. In Fantasyexpo EU Champions Spring 2022, they took first place with their victory against Apeks.
Their performance in ESL Pro League Season 15 was the most important achievement for them this year. They made it to the grand final but lost to FaZe Clan. They finished first in BLAST Premier: Spring European Showdown 2022 and advanced to the semifinals at PGL Major Antwerp 2022. They came second in IEM Dallas 2022 as well. They failed to show their magnificent performance at IEM Cologne 2022 in July and left the tournament early.

1. FaZe Clan
FaZe Clan is at the top of our list. They have captured the attention of all CS:GO fans with a performance that can rival or even surpass NAVI.
FaZe Clan started the year by finishing BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022 in the top three. They then came as a shock to NAVI by winning IEM Katowice 2022, ESL Pro League Season 15 and PGL Major Antwerp 2022 consecutively. In IEM Dallas 2022 and BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022, they failed to perform at this level and placed 5th-6th.
Recovering with Roobet Cup second place, FaZe Clan defeated their biggest rival NAVI with a spectacular comeback in the IEM Cologne 2022 grand final and became the champion.
