Teams are ready for The International 11 playoff stage

With The International 11's group stage ending, all eyes are now on the playoffs. 16 teams are ready for the spectacular playoff challenge on the way to Aegis.

Soniqs, BetBoom Team, Talon Esports and TSM were the teams that said goodbye to The International 11 early. Today, we will take a look at the teams in the playoff stage and their probability of success.

Evil Geniuses

Evil Geniuses have been doing well in the tournament so far. My biggest favourites in Group A were PSG.LGD and OG. Evil Geniuses, on the other hand, performed much better than both teams and finished first in the group. I don't think they will say goodbye to the tournament early with this level of performance. I don't think they will be champions though. I think they'll finish in the top six.

Thunder Awaken

Thunder Awaken became one of the best performing teams in Group B. If they continue this performance, they can finish the tournament in very good rankings. However, their first rival in the playoffs is Evil Geniuses. They have to do their best.

Team Secret

Team Secret finished second in Group B. I think they have a serious chance to progress in the tournament. They play pretty well. In upper bracket round 1, their opponent is PSG.LGD, which is the favourite of the tournament for me. I guess Team Secret will continue on their way from the lower bracket.

Although PSG.LGD were the biggest favourites of the tournament, they did not do as well as they wanted in Group A. I don't think third place made them happy. In my opinion, they'll get better in the playoffs and get to at least the grand final.

Tundra Esports

Tundra Esports left their mark on Group B with their performance. They were the only team to complete the group stage undefeated. I think they will progress a lot in the playoff stage, and even become PSG.LGD's rivals in the grand final.

OG, frankly, has been the biggest disappointment for me so far. I thought that they would finish Group A as the leader after PSG.LGD and they would rival PSG.LGD in the grand final, but they fell short of expectations. I don't think they will be champions. They'll probably be eliminated after a round or two.

Team Liquid

Team Liquid, who finished second in Group A, became one of the teams that marked The International 11 despite coming from the Last Chance Qualifier. I think they will eliminate their rivals Team Aster and advance to the next round. What they can do next is a mystery.

Team Aster

Team Aster was normally one of the strongest teams of the tournament in my eyes, but they struggled to move up from Group B to the upper bracket playoffs. For this reason, I do not think that they will be able to progress comfortably after this stage.

One of the most surprising teams of the tournament was Hokori. They were seen as one of the weakest teams in Group A but finished fifth in the group. They almost went to the upper bracket playoffs. Their opponents will be beastcoast. Whether they can pass the round or be eliminated is a tough question, but I don't think they can progress much.

The South American team performed above expectations in Group B and finished seventh in the group. They may be victorious against Hokori, but cannot progress much. I think the loser of Evil Geniuses and Thunder Awaken can win against both Hokori and beastcoast.

Team Spirit

Last The International champion Team Spirit definitely had a bad group stage. They need to fix this ASAP or there will be no going back. I think they will beat BOOM Esports without difficulty.

BOOM Esports

BOOM Esports was almost eliminated from the tournament. They finished Group A eighth and I think they will say goodbye to The International 11 in lower bracket round 1.

Fnatic had a group stage that exceeded expectations. They have a pretty close roster quality to the Gaimin Gladiators but I think they will beat them. I don't think they can go further than the lower bracket round 2.

Gaimin Gladiators

Gaimin Gladiators are one of the weakest teams to make it to the playoff stage. They will try their best but in this round or the next round they will be eliminated in my opinion.

Royal Never Give Up

Royal Never Give Up is a long way from its old days, but their rivals Entity also seem to have left their brief flash period behind. I think Royal Never Give Up will advance one more round and be eliminated from the tournament.

Entity had suddenly started giving a great performance before The International 11, but they couldn't keep it up at The International 11. So much so that they were almost eliminated. I think they will be defeated against Royal Never Give Up.

The playoff stage brought excitement to all Dota 2 fans. You can follow this amazing tournament on Luckbox and be informed about the latest news with us.
