The final CS:GO Major has come to an end, with just one team left standing - Team Vitality has been crowned the champions of the BLAST.tv Paris Major!

BLAST.tv Paris Major results
Team Vitality have gotten their hands on the final CS:GO trophy following a 2-0 victory over GamerLegion in the May 21 Grand Final. It was a remarkable result for the French organisation, with team captain Dan "apEX" Madesclaire lifting the final CS:GO trophy on his home soil.
It brought an end to a Major that was filled with upset wins from start to finish - with FaZe Clan and Heroic being eliminated during the Playoffs, while the likes of Natus Vincere (NAVI) failed to even make it past the Legends Stage.
GamerLegion's presence in the Grand Final was itself a surprise - with the relatively inexperienced team having pulled off a number of upsets to make it to the Major's final stage. After surviving the Challengers Stage and Legends Stage (with records of 3-2 and 3-1, respectively), GamerLegion stunned CS:GO fans by defeating Heroic in the Semifinals, earning their spot in the Grand Final.
Despite their remarkable upset win over Heroic, GamerLegion were ultimately unable to fend off Team Vitality - who closed out the tournament with a 16-6 win on Overpass and a score of 16-13 on Nuke.
After all, Team Vitality boasted a perfect run through the entire Major. They joined during the Legends Stage, where they earned a spotless record of 3 wins and 0 losses. That perfect record continued into the Playoffs, where the French organisation failed to concede even a single map - claiming 2-0 victories over both Into the Breach and Apeks to make it through to the Grand Final. In fact, Vitality didn't concede a single map for the entire Major, with their only best-of-three match during the Legends Stage taking place against Monte, against whom they claimed a 2-0 victory.
As the winners of the BLAST.tv Paris Major, Team Vitality have been awarded with $500,000, 3,500 BLAST Premier points and has also qualified for both IEM Cologne 2023 as well as the BLAST Premier World Final. The full results from the Champions Stage are as follows.
