Team Vitality will try to get back on their feet at BLAST Finals

French powerhouse Team Vitality is one of eight teams vying for glory at BLAST Premier: Spring Finals. After a hugely successful 2019-2020 era that saw them rise to the top of CS:GO esports, Vitality has failed to live up to its name of late. ZywOo and his friends have had disappointing results throughout 2022, and they are looking to change that.

Although they have been far from success for a long time, Team Vitality is still one of the strongest teams in the world. They are definitely one of the favourites no matter what. In Group A, their opponents are paiN Gaming, G2 Esports and FaZe Clan, a strong group that matches Vitality's potential, and hopefully we will see them rise to glory again.

Team Vitality’s journey

From Charleroi Esports 2019 to cs_summit 4, Team Vitality won many major tournaments to make a name for themselves in 2019, ending the year with an epic win at EPICENTER 2019, followed by a good 2020 where Vitality managed to win IEM XV Beijing Online: Europe and BLAST Premier: Fall 2020, even during the pandemic.

But while Natus Vincere flourished in 2021, Team Vitality failed to adapt to the new conditions. Even with a player like ZywOo, who was considered a top player with GOAT potential, VIT failed to succeed, making matters worse.

ESL Pro League Season 14 seemed to change that: Vitality reached the final and lost it 2-3 to NAVI, they got out of their group in BLAST Premier: Fall Groups and finished third in IEM Fall: Europe. However, the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 ended early for them when they met NAVI. They would be eliminated by NAVI a third time that year in the BLAST Premier: Fall Finals' grand final, and a fourth time at the end of the year, BLAST Premier: World Final, in the lower bracket final.

Despite making it out of their group with a strong performance at BLAST Premier: Spring Group 2022, Vitality have now failed to show their strength in six tournaments in a row. They need to do something about that because we know they have the potential to do so much more.

Team Vitality roster

Vitality's main weapon is their superstar AWP, French prodigy ZywOo. He has been involved in every success in Vitality's history and ZywOo himself is considered one of the players in the race for the CS:GO GOAT, compared with players like s1mple, dev1ce and NiKo.

Team Vitality's IGL is apEX, a very experienced 29-year-old French player who has been on the scene since the CS Source years. The French core of the team is completed with misutaaa, who joined the team in 2020. He is even younger than ZywOo and most of the time misutaaa takes the responsibility of bringing the victory to Vitality's side instead of ZywOo.

In 2022, Team Vitality made a change in their roster and added two players from Denmark whose names you know very well. dupreeh and Magisk came from Astralis to put an end to the team's poor form. The team did not look better with them, but they probably need more time as it has only been a few months since their arrival.

Team Vitality fans expect their team to make a comeback during BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022. If you are interested, you can follow their matches, claim your 100% bonus and place your bets on Luckbox.
