Team Liquid have disbanded their Dota 2 roster after finishing second The International 2019.
Liquid's roster of KuroKy, Miracle-, w33, MinD_ContRoL and GH were runners up in the final in Shanghai, losing to OG in the final.
October 2nd 2019: Team Liquid tease new Dota 2 roster update
Liquid CEO Victor Goossens said the decision was made after team captain KuroKy shared plans to start his own esports org.
In a statement published on Social Media on Friday, Liquid said: "Today we announce the departure of our TI winning Dota 2 roster. We are thankful for the titles and memories they made with us, and we wish them the best of luck in the creation of their new team.
"We promise to make sure the next chapter of Team Liquid in Dota2 will be a force to be reckoned with."

An iconic roster
Team Liquid's Dota 2 roster was among the most stable in esports, with relatively few changes over the past three years.
The most recent and arguably high-profile came in June, with the announcement that MATUMBAMAN would leave Liquid, with him eventually being replaced by w33.
