Legendary Brazilian player Epitacio "TACO" de Melo has announced that he will not be attending either the BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR, or indeed the BLAST.tv Paris Major itself, should his team 00Nation qualify.

Epitacio "TACO" de Melo to miss out on BLAST.tv Paris Major
TACO revealed the news via a Twitlonger, in which he stated: "Unfortunately I won't be attending the RMR and consequently the Paris Major. My future is uncertain even to myself and I'm taking the necessary time to recover and decide about my next steps."
While he didn't give the specific reasons as to why he'll be absent from the RMR, he did add that he was not leaving 00Nation or professional CS:GO. TACO noted that he is "taking care of myself, improving, learning, so I can direct not only my life to the right place but any decision that I will have to take in the future regarding my career."
Whatever the reason for TACO stepping back, it seems that there's no ill will between himself and the rest of 00NATION, with the player adding that he was happy that the team has qualified for the EPL playoffs and that he will "always be happy for their success."
"Counter-Strike is my passion and will always be, but now I need to take care of myself," said TACO. "I'm very grateful for all the messages and love I'm receiving lately and I can't describe how important it is."
With TACO's absence, 00Nation's roster is expected to be made up of Marcelo "coldzera" David, Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer, Bruno "latto" Rebelatto, Leonardo "n9xtz" Santos, Lucas "nqz" Soares and coach Olavo "chucky" Napoleão.
It remains to be seen if TACO's absence will hurt 00Nation's chances of qualifying for the BLAST.tv Paris Major, due to take place from May 8 to 21.
