After the Lunar New Year break last week, LCK 2022 Spring is ready to start again! T1 recently claimed the top of the league after Gen.G lost against KT Rolster, but that makes this week only more interesting. On Saturday, two championship favourites will get down to the Rift and compete for the first place.
DRX found their true form, four teams sit on 3-3 while three sit on 2-4 and KT Rolster is back in the playoffs race. These only mean one thing: we just might be witnessing one of the most competitive seasons in the LCK history.

LCK 2022 Spring Week 4 standings
Before we look at the schedule, let’s see the standings so that you can have a better understanding of the current race in LCK. The scores are very close, only Gen.G and T1 have managed to keep themselves ahead of the rest of the league. While Kwangdong Freecs only have one win, a single 2-0 week could get them back in the playoffs race.

2 | Gen.G | 5-1 (10-4) |
3 | DWG KIA | 3-3 (9-6) |

The first day at LCK Week 4 starts with T1 vs HLE, which leans to T1’s side heavily. Hanwha Life’s new roster wasn’t able to impress, but they did make Gen.G struggle in week 2, so they could repeat that here. While the betting odds don’t reflect that, DRX has a very good form coming up to the second game of the day, and KT Rolster’s last game was against Gen.G where they pulled a major upset. It’s going to be a great series for sure.
On the second day, DWG KIA will face KDF with one win. While DK is clearly behind the top two of the league, T1 and GEN, they have shown that they could still outperform most of the LCK, only losing against Nongshim RedForce. The second one should be a Gen.G win, as Liiv SANDBOX struggled to perform against teams on their own level, let alone better teams. However, the latest loss against KT could mess with GEN players’ minds.
NS will face BRO. While the former will try to get themselves closer to the top two, the latter will aim to get a win so that they can catch up with the middle of the table. Then, the rising star DRX will face Hanwha Life. If they keep their form going, I actually consider DRX the favourite here.
Finally, the match of the week. T1 will face Gen.G. This matchup will reflect LCK 2022 Spring’s story: A team centered around an experienced veteran, Faker, consisting of four mechanically gifted youngsters looking for their breakout. Gen.G on the other hand has built a superteam, with five stars having a long career in LCK. While it’s hard to estimate a winner, surely this series will be an insane one.

The second game of the day will see DWG KIA play against Liiv SANDBOX to further establish their place as “the one behind the top two”. Kwangdong Freecs will look for a win against Nongshim RedForce, and KT Rolster will face Fredit BRION to keep their form going, especially if they manage to defeat DRX at the start of the week.
I strongly recommend you to watch the game of the week, T1 vs Gen.G. If you are a League of Legends player and an LCK fan, you shouldn’t miss that. You can watch the game and pick a favourite and place your bets on Luckbox.
