Sixteen teams will contest the Rainbow Six Invitational 2019, with a prize pool of more than $1m up for grabs.
This year's Rainbow Six Invitational will be held in Montreal, Canada, from February 11th to February 17th and feature the finest teams in the esport.
The following teams have qualified via previous victories in the Major, in Pro League events, Minors or Online qualifiers and will compete for the honour of being crowned Year 3 World Champion:

The Rainbow Six Invitational 2019 will be held at Place Bell in Montreal.
- February 11-13: Group Phase
- February 15: Quarter Finals

- February 17: Grand Final
The $1m-plus prize pool takes the total prize pool for Rainbow Six events to more than $1.5m for year three as the game continues to grow as a credible esports event.

The Invitational will also feature the premiere of a Rainbow Six documentary To Win It All: The Road to the Six Invitational, which follows three pro players, their joys and struggles as they compete for this year’s World Championship title: Pengu (G2 Esports), Canadian (Evil Geniuses), and Zig (Team Liquid).
The Six Invitational 2019 will also feature announcements on Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Year 4 game updates, including but not limited to the upcoming Operation, insights from the development team behind Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six esports scene itself, during dedicated panels at the event.
In a press release, game publisher Ubisoft said: "In celebration of the many facets of the Rainbow Six Siege Community, Behind the Siege, a video series highlighting the many perspectives from the community of over 40 million will also premiere at the Six Invitational 2019 to offer a glimpse into what the game means for key community members.
"Interview subjects will include shoutcasters and concept, esports, and community artists."
