Recap & Round 4 overview
G2 and Vitality earned their third win to move from the Challengers to Legends stage on Tuesday. Nikola "NiKo" Kovac and company beat ENCE while the latter was in its highest form, whereas Vitality fought and won against forZe.
Most high stake match of the tournament, G2 vs. ENCE:
Meanwhile, the tournament bid farewell to 9z and Renegades and set up intriguing elimination matchups for day 3, in which Liquid will compete for survival against their North American regional foe Complexity.
Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was unkillable in Team Vitality's first match of PGL Major Antwerp 2022, scoring 11-0. Vitality defeated Complexity Gaming 16-1, and ZywOo only sustained 90 damage over the course of 17 rounds.
On Inferno map, the best of one match was played. Vitality began on the CT side, where they quickly established a dominating advantage. In Round 4, Complexity detonated the bomb, but ZywOo escaped death to keep his weapon. Vitality would go on to lose the game in that round.
Despite being invincible, ZywOo was not Vitality's standout player in the match. That award was bestowed upon Emil "Magisk" Reif, who finished the map with a staggering 130.2 average damage each round. Followed by Kevin "misutaaa" Rabier and Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen.
Round 4 match predictions
As of now Spirit and IHC seem to be dominating their opponents Astralis and Imperial in their first map in a best-of-three setup.
ENCE’s victory is almost guaranteed and there’s not much to comment on that, with 1 to 4 odds, we can only say good luck to Bad News Eagles.
The most intriguing and head to head matches of the tournament will be played between the Turkish Eternal Fire versus Brazilian MIBR, and the regional rivals Complexity versus Liquid, so make sure to check them out.
It seems like only three teams will get out of the high and low matches and in our expert opinion these three will be the ENCE, Outsiders and Spirit.
