Özgür "woxic" Eker has officially returned to Eternal Fire, just four months after parting ways with the team.

Eternal Fire re-signs woxic
The news comes via the organisation's official Twitter account, in which Eternal Fire welcomes woxic back to the lineup.
The player first joined Eternal Fire in August 2021 as part of the team's original roster. He remained on the team's active roster until being benched in November 2022 - before his contract expired in January of this year.
His highlight with Eternal Fire came when the team qualified for the PGL Major Antwerp 2022, reaching their peak HLTV ranking of the 18th strongest team in the world.
Sadly, however, the team's performance started to slip in the latter half of 2022, with Eternal Fire ranking in a dismal 17th - 20th place at ESL Pro League Season 16 and failing to qualify for the IEM Rio Major - leading to the organisation adding woxic to their transfer list by mutual agreement.
It's just the latest in a series of changes at Eternal Fire, as the team works to stem the bleeding from the severe downturn in its recent performance - having recently failed to qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major, and ranked in a disappointing 9th - 12th place at Brazy Party.
The roster changes began towards the end of April, when Eternal Fire removed Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç from its active roster, and added the player to its transfer list - and replaced him with the stand-in player Ali Haydar "Wicadia" Yalçın.
And then just this week, the team announced that AWPer Ömer "imoRR" Karataş would be moving to a content creator position, in order to make room for woxic.
The current Eternal Fire roster consists of İsmailсan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş, Buğra "Calyx" Arkın, Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli, Ali Haydar "Wicadia" Yalçın (stand-in), Özgür "woxic" Eker and coach Sezgin "Fabre" Kalaycı.
It remains to be seen if Eternal Fire will be able to turn their recent struggles around - or if yet more roster changes are on the horizon.
