October is the month of Majors

Here we are with another article talking about the most important tournaments in October. This month, the most important tournaments of both League of Legends and Dota 2 will begin. Also, BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2022 will be with us in October.

Let's take a look at the details of Worlds 2022, The International 11 and BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2022.

Worlds 2022 (League of Legends)

Undoubtedly the favourite tournament series of League of Legends fans is Worlds. For this reason, Worlds 2022 is making the fans excited. The top 24 League of Legends teams will compete for a massive $2,225,000 prize pool.

Worlds 2022 started on September 29 with the Play-In Round 1 stage. With this stage ending on October 2, Play-In Round 2 will start on October 3. We'll be watching Play-In Round 2 until October 4.

The main group stage of the tournament will start on October 7 and will entertain us with spectacular matches until October 16.

The Knockout Stage will be the highest point of the competition. This magnificent stage will start on October 20 and end with the grand final on November 5.

Worlds 2022's play-in stage will be played at Arena Esports Stadium, group stage and quarterfinals at Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden, semifinals at State Farm Arena, and grand final at Chase Center.

The International 11 (Dota 2)

Next up is The International, Dota 2's most loved and the biggest esports tournament boasting the highest prize pool in the industry. At The International 11, 20 leading Dota 2 teams will compete for a huge prize pool. The prize pool is currently $12,742,252, rising with battle pass purchases. This makes The International 11, even in its current form, the tournament that will hand out the most prizes in October by far.

This amazing competition on the way to the Aegis of the Immortal will start on October 15. The group stage will continue until October 18. On October 20, the main event will start and with the grand final to be played on October 30, the new owner of Aegis will be announced.

The International 11 will be held in Singapore. Playoffs will be played at Suntec Singapore and finals weekend will be played at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

18 of the 20 teams participating in the tournament are currently certain, while the remaining two teams will be determined by the Last Chance Qualifier.

BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2022 (Counter Strike: Global Offensive)

BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2022 is the most important CS:GO tournament of the month. A total of 16 teams will compete for a $135,000 prize pool and to qualify for the Fall Finals 2022.

Fall Showdown 2022 will start on October 19, and will end on October 23. Since the tournament is held online, the European bracket and the North American bracket will compete separately. The winner of both brackets will qualify for the Fall Finals 2022.
