Boukev's Worlds play-in predictions
Flamengo esports vs DAMWON Gaming
The third seed from Korea, DAMWON Gaming, are without a doubt the strongest looking team in the play-in stage. With their current form they are expected to reach the top eight of the entire Worlds tournament this year.
You might wonder why I am picking this game to bet on but this is mostly due to the amazing return on investment you can get by betting on Flamengo Esports. The team from Brazil has had a strong season with plenty of MVP rewards but are still the major underdog in this fight.
The bookmakers are giving you a 7.0x return on a win for Flamengo Esports which sounds great to me due to the best of one format of the round robin used in the play-in stage.

Hong Kong Attitude vs Lowkey Esports
The second seed from Vietnam named Lowkey Esports has had a 20 wins to 12 losses map record in the VCS Summer season and an equally unimpressive 18 wins to 17 losses record when they were named Friends Forever during the Spring season. GAM esports is the clearly stronger team in the Vietnam region.
The story and season of Hong Kong Attitude has been a very similar story with a somewhat lacking season with a 16W-13L in and 17W-16L map record in the summer and spring seasons. They, like Lowkey Esports, ended up in the play-in stage due to a strong play-off showing. Looking at both teams I would bet on Hong Kong Attitude to be the favorite.
