The end is almost upon us! It's the final day of the first Dota 2 Major of the year, with the Lima Major 2023 set to come to a spectacular end, beginning with the Lower Bracket Final.

Lima Major 2023: Team Liquid vs Talon Esports Lower Bracket Final schedule and betting odds
Just three remain from the 18 teams who started out at the Lima Major. Gaimin Gladiators are currently awaiting the Grand Final, after their victory in the Upper Bracket Final put them within reach of claiming absolute victory at the first-ever South American Dota 2 Major.
And that just leaves Team Liquid and Talon Esports, who are due to go head to head in the Lower Bracket Final at 16:00 GMT on March 5. Both teams are now facing elimination, with the winner of today's match earning the right to face off against Gaimin Gladiators in the Grand Final later today.
The winner of the Lima Major 2023 stands to win $200,000 from the $500,000 prize pool, and will also receive 400 DPC points. The team in second place meanwhile will receive $100,000 and 350 DPC points. The games at this tournament have been played under patch version 7.32, with a new patch expected for the game after the Major has come to a close.
Team Liquid (2.64) vs Talon Esports (1.47)
Team Liquid had seemed unstoppable since the very start of this year's Winter Major, having dominated the Group Stage with a record of six wins, two draws, and zero losses. That incredible run continued into the Playoffs, with Liquid claiming 2-0 victories over both Talon Esports and Shopify Rebellion. That unbelievable win streak was brought to an end in the Upper Bracket Final, however, after Gaimin Gladiators sent Liquid down to the Lower Bracket with a 2-0 defeat. Team Liquid have been one of the clear favourites to win the Lima Major throughout the tournament, but they'll need to pull out all the stops to make it to the Grand Final later today.

And they'll be facing steep odds with Talon Esports, who will be out for revenge here, having already lost to Team Liquid in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals. That bruising 2-0 loss sent Talon down to the Lower Bracket, where they have been dominating their rivals. Multiple teams have been eliminated from the tournament thanks to Talon, with HellRaisers, Team Spirit, and Entity all failing to stop their incredible run through the Lower Bracket. It's an impressive run, but will it be enough to enact vengeance on Team Liquid today?
Talon Esports are favoured to win here, with odds of 1.47 vs Team Liquid's 2.64.
The final day of this Dota 2 international tournament is upon us, and you'll not want to miss a single moment of it.
