LEC 2022 Spring Week 7 schedule and betting odds

We are approaching the last two weeks of LEC 2022 Spring, and Misfits Gaming has managed to distinguish themselves right before the end. Just behind Rogue and Fnatic, Misfits is now one of the contenders for the first place, while G2 Esports have fallen behind.

Meanwhile, Astralis and Team BDS are stuck at the bottom and MAD Lions lose the advantage to Team Vitality, finding themselves below the playoffs zone. With Excel coming in and SK Gaming finding a 2-0 week, MAD Lions will have a hard time during the last two weeks of LEC 2022 Spring.

LEC 2022 Spring Week 6 recap

The sixth week of the LEC 2022 Spring started with yet another shock from Astralis, as they defeated Fnatic to find their second win. Following that, Misfits Gaming closed the gap between them and Fnatic by besting the rising star of the LEC, Excel. Team Vitality found a win against Team BDS, and we moved on to SK Gaming vs G2 Esports.

SK Gaming managed to go through G2’s scaling champions, such as Gwen, Viktor and Aphelios, and used their weapons greatly, surprising everyone that thought G2 would crush SK. With a 10-0 Jinx and 4-0 Orianna, the only responsibility of Graves and Volibear was to stay on the front and Leona to start the fight. After a 40 minutes long game, which is perfect for G2’s picks, SK managed to take the win.

In the last game of the day, MAD Lions played a very important game for them, but weren’t able to stop Rogue from finding the win in 29 minutes. The next day, Excel defeated Astralis in forty minutes, although AST fought hard and took a long time to fall. SK Gaming found their second win of the week against BDS that helped them catch up to MAD Lions and get close to the playoffs.

Following that, MAD Lions threw another critical game. In a game where they had 4-1-5 Jinx and 3-0-5 Volibear, MAD managed to lose while they were ahead 10-7. Losing the Infernal Soul to Misfits, MAD weren’t able to withstand Corki’s pokes, and a Baron meant Misfits ending the game.

Rogue crushed Perkz’s Galio and Team Vitality in general in the following game. In the match of the week, Fnatic played flawlessly against G2 Esports, utilizing a 4-0-8 Diana, 3-0-8 Twisted Fate and 2-0-10 Jinx. G2 lost every single matchup other than the top lane, and BrokenBlade wasn’t able to hold the game himself.

MAD Lions vs Fnatic - 21:00 CET

There are many important matches with the playoffs spots this week. MAD Lions will face the rising Excel Esports, and although XL looks like they are the better team for the last few weeks, MAD has to change something and do things differently as they might lose their playoff chances if they lose here, with SK also trailing behind. Team Vitality will face SK, and the latter would want to hold on to their spot, so SK Gaming should play a perfect game, just as how they did last week defeating G2.

The last two games on day one are special as Rogue will face Fnatic and Misfits will face G2. There are no favourites in these matches, and the outcomes will greatly affect their chances at determining the places they will enter the playoffs. On the following day, Misfits will face an underperforming Team Vitality, and if they can repeat what Rogue did to them, it should be an easy one.

XL’s second big challenge will be Rogue this week. If they want to stay in the playoffs zone, pulling an upset against Rogue could prove useful for them. However, Rogue looks so strong that XL could accept the loss and move on to destroy teams that are close to their own level. On the last game of the day, MAD Lions will have a strong challenge. The game against Fnatic will be very valuable for them, as Fnatic doesn’t play perfect this year and MAD desperately needs some wins against the upper half of the league. Keep an eye on that match.
