With the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational just around the corner, Riot Games are making some adjustment to League of Legends' metagame, with League of Legends Patch 13.7 set to make several buffs and nerfs to some of the game's most popular champions.

League of Legends Patch 13.7 release date
League of Legends Patch 13.7 is due to release on April 5, rolling out worldwide at 3 AM PT, 3 AM CET, 5 AM GMT, and 8 AM KR. As ever, the update will result in several hours of downtime, with matchmaking and competitive queues being unavailable in the hours ahead of the patch's release.
With the Mid-Season Invitational fast approaching on May 2, Riot Games are issuing a new wave of buffs and nerfs to various champions.
One champion getting a power boost is Azir, who already saw some significant changes in patches 13.4 and 13.5. While these changes achieved their goals of lowering Azir's dominance in competitive play, they have failed to improve his win rate in the solo queue - As Azir currently sits at a win rate of 43.92%, according to U.gg.
One of the best Azir players in the world is no doubt the legendary midlander Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok, who has had considerable success with the champion - boasting a win rate of 69.2%, according to Gol.gg. Fans will no doubt be keen to see what he makes of the newly-reworked Azir once the patch rolls out on April 5.
The other champions due to be buffed in Patch 13.7 include Katarina, Kalista, Graves, Alistar, and Yasuo.
And according to League of Legends dev Phroxzon, there are plenty of nerfs on the way too. Jungle's S-tier champions Olaf, Sejuani, Vi, and Lee Sin are all set to be nerfed, alongside the likes of Ramus, Veigar, Wukong, Zeri, and Annie.
And as Phroxzon says, we're just two patches away from the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational, which is due to take place from May 2-21.
