The first international Valorant LAN of 2022 is rapidly approaching. 12 of the world's greatest teams will compete for the title of VCT 2022 Stage 1 Masters champions in Iceland. Here's a rundown of everything you need to know about the event.

  • The first VCT Masters LAN of 2022 will bring 12 teams back to Iceland.
  • Sentinels and Acend, previous champions, have already been eliminated.
  • Fnatic is among the first teams from across the world to qualify.

In 2022, Valorant will return to LAN in a familiar context. The first VCT Masters tournament of 2022 will be held in Reykjavik, Iceland, which hosted the Stage 2 Masters event in May 2021.

After a year, the scene has changed dramatically. For openers, Iceland champions Sentinels will not be present after finishing second in NA. Acend, who won Valorant Champions 2021 after capitulating in Europe, is in the same boat.

As the fight for the second world championship heats up, a lot of new blood will have a chance to shine at the global LAN.
