With IEM Rio Major on the horizon, IEM announced the showmatch, including the last dance from many legendary players. Team Sweden and Team Brazil will clash, and we will see a final battle between these amazing names from the CS:GO professional scene. Especially considering Team Brazil consists of players that qualified for the Major.

Team Brazil will bring back the legendary Luminosity Gaming and SK Gaming roster that won CS:GO Majors before, while Team Sweden includes the most legendary players from Sweden. The showmatch will take place just before the grand final of the IEM Rio Major, on November 13 in Jeunesse Arena.
The “Legends Clash”
It is custom that a showmatch including some legendary players before the Major final is played in CS:GO, but this year’s showmatch will be one of the greatest ones for sure. This traditional match is named Legends Clash for this year by IEM, and I am sure that some people will be interested in this match more than the Major final.
Team Brazil includes the legendary FalleN, coldzera, fer, fnx and TACO roster that won the MLG Major Championship Columbus 2016. The same roster went on to win back-to-back Majors at ESL One Cologne 2016, dominating the year for Brazil. They were the pride of Brazil, and all these players will represent their country in this Rio Major that takes place in their home as well.
Team Sweden includes the most legendary names from the Swedish CS:GO history: f0rest, GeT_RiGhT, olofmeister, JW and friberg. GeT_RiGhT, f0rest and friberg won the ESL One Cologne 2014 Major together, olofmeister won two Majors in 2015 with Fnatic together with JW. That Fnatic roster is still one of the most iconic teams in the history of the game.
While Team Brazil consists of players that will actively participate in Rio Major, Team Sweden players are either retired/inactive or couldn’t make it to Brazil with their teams. Thus, you might say that Brazil will have an advantage before the showmatch. Whoever wins, this match will be an amazing show of respect to the earlier years of CS:GO. Diehard fans will be amazed by this showmatch for sure.
