The Group Stage is nearly over, with just a handful of matches left to go to determine the six teams who will be competing in the Playoffs, taking place from February 10-12.
Today's combatants Heroic and Team Vitality have both qualified for the Playoffs, and will soon be competing to see which team will advance to the semifinals - while the loser goes on to compete in the February 10 quarterfinals.

The two teams are getting ready to wrap up the Group Stage in style, in a match taking place at 15:00 GMT on February 7.
Heroic (1.94) vs Team Vitality (1.87)
Heroic's run through this year's IEM Katowice has been impressive to watch. The team earned an invitation to the Group Stage through their position on the ESL World Ranking, where they're ranked in first place. Heroic have done well to live up to those high expectations so far, having comfortably defeated both Complexity Gaming with a score of 2-1, as well as OG with a score of 2-0. Given that Heroic ranked in 3rd-4th place at last year's IEM Katowice, signs are looking good that they'll be able to go the distance once again this year.
Team Vitality meanwhile earned an invitation to the Group Stage via their success at ESL Pro League Season 16, and have similarly performed well in Katowice so far. They kicked off the tournament on a fantastic note, claiming a 2-0 victory over Ninjas in Pyjamas on February 4, before going on to defeat Fnatic with a score of 2-1 on February 6. Win or lose today, Vitality have already improved on their 2022 Katowice performance, where they ranked in a disappointing 9th - 12th place.
The odds are neck and neck here, but ever so slightly in Team Vitality's favour, at 1.87 vs Heroic's 1.94. Still, there's plenty of room for either team to come away victorious here, and earn their invitation to the semifinals of the Playoffs.
