This year's IEM Katowice is rapidly approaching its endgame, with four teams due to take the stage for the quarterfinals taking place on February 10.

There are just a few matches left of this year's IEM Katowice, marking the beginning of the end of a fantastic tournament - which has been filled with some stunning performances and dramatic turnarounds from start to finish.
While they didn't quite make it to the Playoffs, IHC Esports wowed fans across the world with the Cinderella run through the Group Stage - facing off more powerful teams time and time again and defying both the odds and their nay-sayers. And while they were ultimately sent home by defending champions FaZe Clan, FaZe themselves have surprisingly found themselves eliminated from this year's IEM Katowice - opening up the tournament for the remaining teams aiming for the top spot.
And the action isn't over just yet - With Team Liquid getting ready to face off against Team Vitality in the quarterfinals, taking place at 18:00 GMT on February 10.
Team Liquid (2.22) vs Team Vitality (1.67)
Team Liquid have found themselves in the quarterfinals following their victory in the Group A lower bracket final on February 7, where they defeated FaZe Clan with a score of 2-1 - thereby eliminating the defending champions from the tournament. It marked the end of a fantastic run through the Group A lower bracket, which Liquid found themselves in after their 2-0 loss to Natus Vincere (NAVI) in the upper bracket semifinals on February 5. The team rallied from then, however, claiming victory over Team Spirit before going on to defeat FaZe Clan. It's an incredible result for Team Liquid, who have already massively outperformed their previous IEM Katowice record, having ranked in 13th - 16th place at the 2022 tournament. If Liquid can defeat 2022 Katowice champions FaZe Clan, they may even be able to claim victory at this year's tournament.
But they'll need to defeat Team Vitality to have hope of doing that. Team Vitality are coming into the quarterfinals following their 2-0 loss to Heroic, who alongside G2 Esports are now waiting in the semifinals taking place on February 11. Despite that loss, Team Vitality qualified for the Playoffs through an incredible run through the Group Stage, defeating both Ninjas in Pyjamas and Fnatic in the Group B upper bracket. It's a promising run for the team, who have come into IEM Katowice 2023 following their 1st-3rd place position at this year's BLAST Premier Spring Groups - with the French organisation celebrating a fantastic start to the 2023 season. Team Vitality have also vastly outperformed their previous IEM Katowice record, having ranked in 9th-12th place in 2022 - and seems to be enjoying considerable momentum so far in the 2023 season.
The odds are in Team Vitality's favour here, at 1.67 against Team Liquid's 2.22.
