IEM Katowice 2023: Complexity Gaming vs Outsiders Group B lower bracket final schedule and betting odds
Complexity Gaming and Outsiders are due to close out the Group B matches in the lower bracket final, with both teams fighting for survival.
We've already seen several teams sent packing, with only six spots available at the Katowice Playoffs, taking place from February 10-12. Four of those spots have already been filled, meaning that only two teams will be able to hang on in this year's tournament.
Those two remaining spots will be decided by the Group A and B lower bracket finals - Meaning that either Complexity Gaming or Outsiders will be sent home from Katowice following their match at 18:30 GMT on February 7.
Outsiders (1.52) vs Complexity Gaming (2.56)
Outsiders have found themselves at the lower bracket final after a decisive 2-0 victory over OG, thereby eliminating the team from this year's tournament. It was a much-needed win for Outsiders, who had disappointed fans in their Katowice 2023 debut match, where they suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Fnatic. They have fared considerably better in the lower bracket however, with their victory over OG as well as a 2-1 win over Ninjas in Pyjamas securing their spot in today's lower bracket final. It's the first time the team has played in Katowice under their 'Outsiders' label, but performed well at last year's IEM Katowice under the Virtus.Pro tag, placing in 5th-6th place.
Complexity Gaming meanwhile eliminated Fnatic from the tournament in a 2-1 victory earlier today. Complexity have similarly been making their way through the lower bracket, after losing to Heroic in the upper bracket quarterfinals, with a score of 2-1. Their performance has improved since then, however, having not only eliminated Fnatic from the tournament but also sent MOUZ home through a 2-1 win on February 6. They're facing stiff competition with Outsiders here, but they've proven that they're not ones to be underestimated.
Still, the odds are in Outsiders' favour here, as 1.52 vs Complexity's 2.56.
