The unyielding Spirit advanced to the grand final
Team Spirit finished third in Group B with 3 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss. Their rivals in the upper quarter-finals were the Outsiders. Outsiders, who can be considered a quite strong opponent for the first round, won the first game. Team Spirit won the series with a comeback.
In the upper bracket semifinals, they were paired with the winner of their group, Team Aster. They beat their opponents, with whom they had drawn in the group stage, 2-0 this time, and qualified for the upper bracket final, against PSG.LGD.
In the upper bracket final, they lost against PSG.LGD as they could not show much presence in both games. Their last chance was against Team Aster. They defeated Team Aster once again, this time 2-1, and qualified to face PSG.LGD again in the grand final.
Recurring grand final
PSG.LGD started the grand final ahead, just like they did in the upper bracket final. Team Spirit, on the other hand, was not going to give up easily this time. While they lost their hopes in The International 10, they reached the championship with their comeback. This time, they won three games in a row. Once again they have dashed PSG.LGD's hopes.
