Denmark is one of the most successful countries in any esports, CS:GO, Dota 2, League of Legends or anything you can think of. Let's take a look at five esports players that earned the most during their esports careers. In other words, let's take a look at some of the most successful players from Denmark.

As the tournament prizes are lower than Dota 2 and CS:GO, we don't have any League of Legends players on our list. Although Denmark has enormous success in those two games, don't forget that Danish players are also at the top of many other games that offer competition. Scandinavians love esports.
5. Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive)
A legendary AWPer, 27 year old dev1ce is the first name on our list. His career started in 2009, with smaller teams, and when he joined Copenhagen Wolves, he began to advance in his career. Finally, when he joined Astralis in 2016, he was a part of the legendary team that won four Majors and won MVP awards in two of them.

dev1ce has one of the most decorated esports careers with his numerous achievements and awards, and he is a fan-favourite still. After he joined Ninjas in Pyjamas in 2021, he went through some problems and decided to bench himself. He has been inactive since the end of 2021, and he is dearly missed by fans. There are reports of him thinking about going back to Astralis, though.
He was named in HLTV's best player rankings every single year between 2014 and 2021, and his best result was second place in 2018. Regardless of his inactive status, dev1ce is undoubtedly one of the best players in the history of CS:GO.

The final CS:GO player and the final part of the trio: dupreeh gets the third place on our list, earning just a little more than Xyp9x. He is one of the most important assets of the legendary roster that started back in Copenhagen Wolves. The Danish rifler is an excellent entry fragger and a secondary AWPer.

He was a part of HLTV's top 20 player lists between 2013 and 2020, and was named MVP at ESL Pro League Season 7 and BLAST Pro Series: Global Finals 2019 by HLTV. As mentioned earlier, he has won a record amount of Majors together with his legendary teammates, and is one of the two players that attended all Majors in the history of CS:GO.
When playing for Astralis, we have also seen dupreeh take the job of lurker and AWPer every now and then, he is a completely flexible and immensely skilled player. Team Vitality uses him as an entry fragger as it his strongest skill, but dupreeh can always surprise you.

The 26 year old found success as a support after playing competitively and studying at the same time during the first few years of his career.
