Global Esports Games Singapore 2021 starts on December 17

The Global Esports Games Singapore 2021, the first of the Global Esports Games to be held in December for three consecutive years, will begin on December 17. More than hundred esports players across forty countries will take part in the event.

Global Esports Games, which will be held in Istanbul in December 2022, in Riyadh in 2023. In addition, the event is expected to continue after 2023.

What is the venue of Global Esports Games Singapore 2021?

The Global Esports Games is scheduled to be held from December 17 to December 19, and will be at Resorts World Sentosa. It will run concurrently with the Global Esports Federation's international convention, GEFcon. Apart from that, GEFestival will be held at Orchard Cineleisure and around 400 fans will be able to watch the competitions at Global Esports Games. Singaporean street artist Antz will also create a mural inspired by the GEG titles featured in the show at Orchard Cineleisure.

Which games will be held at Global Esports Games Singapore 2021?

We will see games of three different games at the event to be held in Singapore. Two different events will be held in Dota 2. There will be an open category tournament with four teams and another four-team tournament where women compete. Another game whose tournament will be held is eFootball™ 2022, which has been the focus of criticism this year. A total of 32 players will compete in the tournament to be held on PlayStation 5. The third and final game is Street Fighter V: Champion Edition. In Street Fighter V, 32 players will compete against each other, and try to reach the championship.

With this event organized by the Global Esports Federation, esports culture, music, technology and art will come together. Equality will be emphasized once again in the games. In addition, a new organization series, which is slated to last at least three years, will meet with esports lovers for the first time.
