Last night, the quarterfinals of ESL Pro League Season 16 came to an end. Among the four teams eliminated were FaZe Clan and NAVI, teams most certain to advance to the grand final.

Frankly, I thought it was the end of the tournament for Cloud9, but the end of the tournament was for FaZe Clan instead.
The MOUZ and Team Liquid match actually ended as I expected. Considering that the Round of 12 was quite competitive, I expected MOUZ to win at least one map in the quarterfinals as well. Anyway, they managed to perform close to the victory in both maps.
We praised G2 Esports during ESL Pro League Season 16. They put on a great performance. Still, their victory over NAVI is a rather surprising performance. NAVI was my favourite against G2 Esports but I said there could still be a surprise. Looks like jks and HooXi's joining the team has brought the team back to its old days.
Another team that said goodbye to the tournament was Outsiders. They did their best on both maps. With Team Vitality's 19-17 win on Dust II, Outsiders lost the series 2-0 and were eliminated from ESL Pro League Season 16.

Another shining team of the tournament is G2 Esports. I think they will be the opponent of Cloud9 in the grand final with their win against Team Vitality.
