Twitter tributes flood in as f0rest leaving NIP is confirmed

The CS:GO community hit Twitter to recognise one of the game's greats as f0rest's exit from NIP was confirmed.

F0rest - Patrik Lindberg - is moving on to "continue his career elsewhere in esports" - widely expected to be Dignitas CS:GO.

F0rest was the last remaining member of the original Ninjas in Pyjamas CS:GO team and his place in roster is taken by nawwk.

NIP chief Jonas Gundersen said: "Patrik is a true icon of the game with a long list of accolades and has been instrumental in the legacy and brand of NiP for many years. That is something that we respect immensely and will never forget.

"After having been with the same team for so long and achieved so much, it’s a natural thing to want a change of scenery. We have of course chosen to honor that request and wish him the very best of luck on his next adventure."

f0rest Twitter reaction

While f0rest leaving NIP has been expected for some time, the CS:GO community marked the official confirmation with tributes to the 31-year-old on Twitter.
