First phase of esports betting functionality added

Esports news

We’ve made some changes to the Luckbox site as we enter the final stages of development before launch.

Visitors to Luckbox's matches page will see live odds for the first time, as the first stage of our esports betting functionality goes live.

Esports fans won’t be able to bet or put money into their accounts just yet because we need to implement and test the new features. We have also temporarily disabled the sign-up option as part of betting testing and deployment.

The new functionality is work in progress and elements such as our matches page and live streams will be affected as, at this stage, we will only show matches with the odds available. In the coming weeks we will continue to add more matches with odds and streams as well as polishing existing features and adding new ones.

Our community has been really supportive so far and feedback is a really important part of our development process.

Please, join our Discord server to chat to the team and provide your comments and suggestions.

The next steps

Beta testing is due to start this week and the aim is to scale that up in the coming days. If all goes to plan, we will continue to deploy further functionality and start accepting its first customers in the coming weeks.

Chief Product Officer Boris Mihov said: “We have been working on this project for a year now and we’re finally on the home straight to launch.

“All departments are working very hard and it’s also a very exciting time for us. We’re really looking forward to hearing what you think of our work so far.”

Boris will join Sujoy Roy for a live Q&A to chat about the update in our Discord server on Monday, April 8th, from 5pm BST / 6pm CEST.
