ESL Pro League Season 17: Cloud9 vs FaZe Clan Grand Final schedule and CS:GO betting odds
After almost a month of world-class CS:GO action, we're about to find out which team will be crowned the champion of this month's tournament, which has been full of spectacular performances and stunning upsets from start to finish. The initial 32 teams have been whittled down to just two, after the brutal Playoffs stage has seen multiple fan-favourite teams sent home early.
The winner of today's match will receive $200,000 out of the $850,000 prize pool, 3,000 BLAST Premier Points as well as invitations to both IEM Cologne and the BLAST Premier World Final.
The Grand Final of ESL Pro League Season 17 is due to begin at 15:00 GMT today (March 26), when we'll see the final showdown between Cloud9 and FaZe Clan.
Cloud9 (2.20) vs FaZe Clan (1.58)
Cloud9 has been on excellent form at this tournament and seems to be on track to make up for a disappointing performance in recent months after the team ranked in 13th - 16th place at IEM Katowice 2023. Cloud9's recent roster changes - with the recent signing of Timur "buster" Tulepov - seem to be paying off, with the team having claimed stunning upset wins over arguably stronger teams. That's perhaps no better exemplified than in their Group Stage match against G2 Esports, where they claimed a surprise 2-0 victory in the Upper Bracket Semifinals. Their run through ESL Pro League Season 17 has been incredible to see - but will they be able to emerge victorious today?
They'll be facing steep competition in FaZe Clan, who are back on top form after a relatively disappointing IEM Katowice run, in which they finished in 7th - 8th place. Despite a slight setback in the Group Stage, where they suffered a 2-0 loss to Team Vitality, FaZe have otherwise been dominating the tournament up until now. They're fresh from having eliminated the Ukrainian superstar team Natus Vincere (NAVI) in the Semifinals, after they claimed a 2-1 victory, with wins on both Nuke and Mirage. FaZe have been one of the fan-favourite teams since the start of the tournament, but does Cloud9 have room to pull off yet another upset win here?
The odds are in FaZe Clan's favour here, at 1.58 vs Cloud9's 2.20.
