Round of 12 matches progressed quite competitively
The teams that finished second and third in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16 faced off at the Round of 12 stage. All encounters had one thing in common. Each of the teams won at least one map.

Heroic and NAVI match was the most exciting match of Round of 12. While the first two maps ended 16-14, NAVI finished the Bo3 series 2-1 with a clear 16-7 win in the last map.

There are no easy matches in the quarterfinals

Team Liquid have been performing on the rise lately and I think they are favourites against MOUZ. Of course, MOUZ also has the power to win the match, but I think whoever wins the match, the semifinals will be the end of the road for them.
- G2 Esports - Natus Vincere (September 30 - 19:00 CEST)
Here is the most amazing match of the quarterfinals in my opinion. I think NAVI is the favourite, no matter who they play besides FaZe Clan. However, G2 Esports have outperformed NAVI so far in this tournament. Therefore, with a surprise, G2 Esports could advance to the semifinals.
- Team Vitality - Outsiders (September 30 - 15:30 CEST)
Among the eight teams, Team Vitality is the team that I consider most certain to make it to the semifinals. Because they have to make serious mistakes to be defeated by Outsiders. Outsiders could win the match, but that's mostly in Team Vitality's hands.
