The Round of 12 stage of ESL Pro League Season 16 has come to an end. All of our predictions for Round of 12 have come true.

Today, we will take a look at the results of the Round of 12 stage and focus on the quarterfinal matches.
Round of 12 matches progressed quite competitively
The teams that finished second and third in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16 faced off at the Round of 12 stage. All encounters had one thing in common. Each of the teams won at least one map.
- FaZe Clan 2 - 1 Complexity Gaming
- Fnatic 1 - 2 Team Liquid
- Heroic 1 - 2 NAVI
- FURIA Esports 1 - 2 Outsiders
Frankly, we have to congratulate Complexity for their performance. They won one map against FaZe Clan, currently considered the strongest CS:GO team, and lost 14 rounds on another map despite winning 14 rounds.
Heroic and NAVI match was the most exciting match of Round of 12. While the first two maps ended 16-14, NAVI finished the Bo3 series 2-1 with a clear 16-7 win in the last map.

There are no easy matches in the quarterfinals
As the grand final slowly approaches in ESL Pro League Season 16, only the strongest are still continuing. Let's take a look at the matches together.
- Cloud9 - FaZe Clan (September 29 - 19:00 CEST)
Both teams have a quite strong roster. Cloud9 came here as group winner and FaZe Clan as group runner-up. However, my favourite is the FaZe Clan by a slight margin. Moreover, I think they will be tournament champions.
- MOUZ - Team Liquid (September 29 - 15:30 CEST)
Team Liquid have been performing on the rise lately and I think they are favourites against MOUZ. Of course, MOUZ also has the power to win the match, but I think whoever wins the match, the semifinals will be the end of the road for them.
- G2 Esports - Natus Vincere (September 30 - 19:00 CEST)
Here is the most amazing match of the quarterfinals in my opinion. I think NAVI is the favourite, no matter who they play besides FaZe Clan. However, G2 Esports have outperformed NAVI so far in this tournament. Therefore, with a surprise, G2 Esports could advance to the semifinals.
- Team Vitality - Outsiders (September 30 - 15:30 CEST)
Among the eight teams, Team Vitality is the team that I consider most certain to make it to the semifinals. Because they have to make serious mistakes to be defeated by Outsiders. Outsiders could win the match, but that's mostly in Team Vitality's hands.
Great teams and a magnificent stage are waiting for us. Do not forget to follow the excitement of the ESL Pro League Season 16’s quarterfinals on Luckbox.
