With several of the best teams in the world competing, an enthusiastic crowd at the Hovet Arena, and a healthy prize pool of $500,000, everything points to the ESL One Stockholm Dota 2 Major 2022 being one of the most exciting esports events of the year.

It is the perfect first big test for teams in attendance in their journey towards The International. A multitude of the best teams in the world — many of which have been making strides in their respective regions – will provide a perfect getaway for some excellent storylines.
It will be exciting to see how each region stacks up against the other regions in the battle of supremacy.
Here are three of the teams everyone should look out for.
OG
What can be said about this version of OG? Well, it’s probably not at the same level of the ones that we have seen in the past (what teams truly rise to that level?). Still, though, OG is a fearsome team — not one that is to be taken lightly.
Though the team didn’t have the easiest time at GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022 – their first ever LAN as a team, they had their best result of the year at DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I... by winning it.

The roster has been surprising everyone since the very beginning of the DPC 2021/22 tour, and has shown a great deal of improvement. Their unpredictability makes up for their inexperience, but that also is their greatest weapon.
Being guided by two-time TI winners, Ceb and Notail, and under the staunch guidance of their captain, Misha, OG is set to either make it or break it.
There’s no in-between for this squad.
T1
T1 has been one of the torchbearers for Southeast Asia in the past few seasons. They have made immense strides and proven themselves as worthy opponents, especially on a LAN setting.
They have consistently ranked in the upper echelons of the SEA leaderboard and have been a fairly consistent team with solid results at four separate events throughout this year.
T1 is known to draft around late game prowess and utilize the same to their advantage. They are well known to strike back from early to mid game deficits, and make an insurmountable comeback against all odds.
They have some of the most experienced players in the history of the game, and have a knack to keep surprising everyone with their weird drafts.
BOOM Esports
BOOM Esports will most likely be the most challenging opponents for any teams heading into the Major.
With a talented group of players, as well as one of the most brilliant minds in Dota with Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung — BOOM is one of the most intimidating teams in the world. They’ve already demonstrated their potential this year, considering the fact that they won GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022 — the only big LAN event of this year.

Additionally, they also ranked first at the DPC SEA 2021/22 Division 1: Tour 1, as well as won the DPC SEA Regional Finals, in a very convincing manner.
Their strongest weapon is their sheer ability to outclass any opponent with their highly skilled players, especially, Yopaj and Jacky – two of the strongest cores in the game currently.
They’ll look to replicate the same performance at the ESL One Stockholm Dota 2 Major 2022, and inch a step closer towards the ultimate glory; The International 11.
