The second Dota 2 Major of the year is fast approaching, with the ESL One Berlin Major due to kick off later this month.

ESL One Berlin Major 2023 schedule and format
The ESL One Berlin Major is due to take place from April 26 to May 27, when 18 teams will be competing for the chance of becoming the second Major winner of 2023.
The action will kick off with the Group Stage, in which the eighteen teams will be split into two groups of nine teams each. Each group will compete through Single round-robin matches, which will all be best-of-two matches.
The top four teams from each group will advance to the playoff's upper bracket, while the teams ranked in fifth and sixth place will move on to the lower bracket. The remaining teams will be eliminated from the tournament.
Once in the Playoffs, the surviving teams will compete under a single-elimination bracket, with all matches being best-of-three, with the exception of the best-of-five grand final.
ESL One Berlin Major 2023 teams
Eighteen teams will participate in the ESL One Berlin Major, consisting of four teams each from Western Europe and China, three teams each from Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe and two teams each from North America and South America.

ESL One Berlin Major 2023 prize pool
The teams at the ESL One Berlin Major will be competing for their share of the grand prize pool of $500,000 and 2,700 Dota Pro Circuit points. The breakdown of the prize money and DPC points is as follows.
