ESL Challenger #48: Schedule and betting odds

ESL Challenger #48 starts tomorrow, where the winner will qualify for ESL Pro League Conference Season 16.

There are many familiar names in the tournament where eight teams take part. Without waiting too long, let's find out what you need to know about the tournament.

ESL Challenger #48 format

Eight teams are split into two groups. Opening and Winners matches will be Bo1. Elimination and Decider matches will be Bo3. Teams that complete their groups in the first two places will advance to the Playoffs.

The playoffs will be played in a single-elimination bracket. Both the semifinals and the grand final will be Bo3.

Group A

  • 9z Team - 9z Team (February 11 - 11:00 CET)
Dignitas - Movistar Riders (February 11 - 12:15 CET) is almost the absolute favourite of the group, and is also in a favourable position against 9z Team.

In the match between Dignitas and Movistar Riders, great moments probably await us. The team that seems only one step ahead is Dignitas.

Group B

  • FURIA Esports
  • Complexity Gaming
  • HEET

FURIA Esports - ORDER (February 11 - 13:30 CET)
Complexity Gaming - HEET (February 11 - 14:45 CET)

In the first match of Group B, FURIA Esports is the side that appears to be the favourite. ORDER will be looking to spring a surprise.

The match between HEET and Complexity Gaming will probably be one of the most exciting opening matches of the tournament. It is quite difficult to say which team will prevail against the other.

With the end of the groups on February 12, the Playoff stage will begin on February 13, one day later. All playoff games will be played on February 13, with the championship-defining game kicking off at 19:30 CET.
