ENCE has announced that it has filled out its roster with the former Endpoint player Guy “Nertz” Iluz.

The announcement comes just days after the revelation that ENCE had benched Valdemar "valde" Vangså, following a challenging few months for the team - which saw them ranked in 17th-20th place after failing to make it past the Play-In Stage following back-to-back losses to the likes of Cloud9 and Complexity Gaming.
The team has wasted no time in announcing valde's replacement, with Nertz leaving his former team Endpoint to make his ENCE debut at the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 17.
“We've had our eyes on Nertz for some time already, as his skills and potential are undeniable," said ENCE's CS:GO Coach Eetu "sAw" Saha in a statement. "He seems to fit the team really well, both role-wise and in terms of personality. I'm excited to welcome Nertz to the team and start working hard to reach our full potential together!”
Nertz had been with Endpoint since November 2021 and has previous experience with the likes of Team Finest, Adaptation, and the now-defunct Uniquestars - the latter of which kicked off Nertz's CS:GO career back in 2015. Nertz started playing CS 1.6 when he was 10 years old and was inspired to pursue a professional career on the international stage after seeing the success of fellow Israeli players Lotan "Spinx" Giladi and Shahar "flameZ" Shushan.
"For me joining an organization like ENCE feels like a crazy story," said Nertz. "I remember back in the days when I heard the song EZ4ENCE while playing a Deathmatch, so you can understand how proud I feel now. I’m really happy to represent them.”
Nertz's ENCE debut will take place at the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 17, where ENCE will be competing in Group D.
