A rising star appears: HellRaisers. After the disappointing runs of Virtus.pro and Natus Vincere it seems like DPC Eastern Europe 2021/2022 final outcome will be decided among HellRaisers and PuckChamp. HR kept dominating every team it faced until now with zero losses. But they are yet to face TeamSpirit and PuckChamp. If they can outfight PuckChamp then they might just snatch the second place right from under their noses.
Team Spirit continued to wreak havoc and will undoubtedly carry on in the fashion that made them win The International 2021. They are still standing on top with zero match losses. Only one that could score a map against them until now was NAVI.
But we weren’t doubting TS’s performance anyway. From the lower depths of the DOTA 2 brackets to being the top dog, it seems like they are not the hype team people make them out to be.
Let’s check the current standings as of week 5 of DPC EEU.
Standings | Teams | Win/Lose |
---|---|---|
1. | Team Spirit | 5-0 |
2. | Puck Champ | 5-1 |
3. | HellRaisers | 4-0 |
4. | Virtus.pro | 3-2 |
5. | Natus Vincere | 2-3 |
6. | AS Monaco Gambit | 1-4 |
7. | Mind Games | 0-5 |
7. | Team Empire | 0-5 |
What to expect from week 5
Most important matches will be between HellRaisers and the top contenders this week. On January 13th, they will play against PuckChamp and on the 16th, they will face the undisputed champs: Team Spirit.
HellRaisers. vs. PuckChamp

HellRaisers are coming in head to head with PuckChamp when we look at the odds and their performance up to now. Advantage and also the disadvantage of HellRaisers is that they are playing very traditionally. They play according to the classical mindset of DOTA 2, picking heroes that will scale midgame, and up until now they are pretty good at what they are doing, with odds favouring them 1.80 against PuckChamp’s 1.92 in their upcoming match.
Team Spirit vs. HellRaisers
TS defeated PC and other famous teams such as NAVI and Virtus.pro. The only team that gave them a hard time was NAVI with a single map win.
They are calculating and coldblooded, their games usually don’t last over 40 minutes, with low kill counts. Can HR succeed where others failed? Low chance. Odds favouring Team Spirit with a safe 1.22 against HellRaisers 3.80 as of January 12th. But it will be an interesting match to watch regarding its statistics.
Whilst other contenders seem like they are safely guarding their position in the current division, Mind Games and Team Empire with their very poor 0-5 W/L stats look like they are condemned to Division II for the next tour.
