7.22 patch update

Valve said the 7.22 Dota 2 patch would be released "after the conclusion of the final Major and Minor DPC Qualifiers starting soon".

Ready to fork out for Battle Pass

The International is the highlight of the esports calendar for Dota 2 fans and the Battle Pass release marks the countdown to the showpiece event for many. Valve confirmed that 25% of sales from the Battle Pass would go to the TI9 prize pool, as is customary.

Over on Reddit, the Battle Pass was met with more positive reaction.

Custom game modes, good looking custom towers, avoiding players, party finder, MVP vote combined with a new VS screen (thank god), high fives (I can see pros doing this), a better assistant (hopefully it won't say to put spectre mid anymore lol).

"All the immortals look sick in the first treasure. The new terrain is nice though I think it'll be a disadvantage to those using it. YOUNG INVOKER?!?!? This is crazy."
