Major 1 Qualifiers are over and the brackets are announced for the year’s first CDL Major.
All Call of Duty League teams competed in the online qualifying for Major 1 seeding throughout the last three weeks. Teams such as London Royal Ravens stunned everyone by winning 4-1 in their overall match results and others such as Atlanta FaZe finished their matches 5-0 with no surprise to anyone.
Here's all you need to know about the first Major of the year, with all 12 teams competing.
Some highlights before we begin:
- OpTic managed to turn its tide and placed 4th behind, London, FaZe and LA Thieves
- Breach, despite losing to OpTic managed to score a single map against them and secured their place in the winners bracket.
- The Major 1 bracket has been determined.
Results and Major 1 Bracket
The first Major of the year will be a double elimination bracket, with the Losers Bracket featuring the Florida Mutineers, Paris Legion, Minnesota ROKKR, and the New York Subliners.
The remaining teams will begin in the Winners bracket, and the competition will begin on Thursday, March 3rd and will end on March 6th.

The Thieves vs. Toronto Ultra in round one of the Major is a huge game, with Toronto looking amazing at first but presently in a skid. The LA Thieves, on the other hand, look better than ever and will be hoping to get off to a solid start in the Major.
Seattle Surge vs. OpTic Texas
OpTic Texas concluded the Major 1 Qualifiers withon a three-match winning streak and will be eager to keep this up. The Seattle Surge are now in a downturn and appear to be far from their Kickoff Classic form.
