Predictions and analysis
Atlanta FaZe have remained unbeaten in all three matches they have played in the first two weeks of the CDL, demonstrating why they won the title last year. The performance was great, despite the fact that they dropped a single game against Boston Breach and Los Angeles Thieves, as well as two to Paris Legion.
While Atlanta FaZe is certainly the CDL favourite, Seattle Surge appears to have improved their performance from last year, or perhaps Vanguard is a game that better suits them. Whatever the case may be, they have dominated the CDL in weeks one and two, going 3:0 thus far.
The opening stage of the CDL will not include Atlanta FaZe vs. Seattle Surge. At least not until Major 1 kicks off. Regardless, both clubs have a difficult weekend ahead of them. Surge will face the Mutineers and London Royal Ravens, while FaZe will face Rokkr and the Subliners. If both teams manage to get out of this weekend unscratched, it is going to be all about Faze vs. Surge in the Major 1 finale.
