CBLOL 2022 Split 1 Week 5 schedule and betting odds

The new leader at CBLOL 2022 Split 1 is FURIA Esports after a perfect week against two of their championship rivals. Defeating both Liberty and KaBuM! last week, FURIA distinguished themselves as the sole leader of CBLOL, and amongst the five best playoff contenders, they have the crown before the end of the first half.

Flamengo, INTZ and Rensga are stuck at the bottom with two wins, but they aren’t too late to show some signs of life as there is still one spot left in the playoffs that is up for grabs for five teams. Although there is still a lot of time before the end of the regular season, the top five doesn’t look like they are letting this one go, meaning that there is a high chance that only one of the bottom teams will reach the playoffs.

CBLOL 2022 Split 1 Week 4 recap

The fourth week at Brazil started with a match between two teams stuck at the bottom of the table, INTZ and Rensga, where Rensga had their second win and stopped INTZ from catching up to paiN after their critical win last week. The first surprise came in early, Flamengo Esports also took their second win following that game, but their rival was championship contenders RED Canids. Tutsz played a 9-0 Zoe and Flare played a 7-0 Jinx, which helped them crush RED in 40 minutes.

On the third game of the day, FURIA found an important win against Liberty, thanks to RedBert’s amazing Karma. LOUD kept their rollercoaster performance going by defeating paiN in 33 minutes with a score of 16-6. Netshoes Miners couldn’t stop their poor form against KaBuM!, not being able to stop KBM’s snowball and losing the fort in 29 minutes.

The next day, Liberty decided to perform against the Flamengo which couldn’t meet the expectations this year, a 21-13 victory helped LBR get a 1-1 week. The match of the week saw a total domination from FURIA, utilizing Gwen and Aphelios in a confident way, finding the victory against their rivals KaBuM! in 31 minutes.

LOUD threw Netshoes Miners down the hill with the smite Janna top, although it was a close one. RED Canids crushed INTZ in 23 minutes with a score of 30-8. The last game was critical for the bottom of the table where Rensga failed to show up and paiN managed to get themselves a better position for the playoffs.

There probably won’t be any changes at the top of the league this week, as both FURIA and KaBuM! will be facing teams that are below their level. On the first day, league leader FURIA will face the Netshoes Miners who left the playoffs area last week. RED Canids will have a second chance against paiN Gaming and after losing against Flamengo on week four, they should be focusing on playing better.

The second day of the week doesn’t look very different either. Flamengo will face Netshoes Miners, and that game could change Flamengo’s fate, and get them back in the playoffs race potentially. Playing against a team with such poor form, FLA won’t have many chances like this. FURIA will play against LOUD, and while FURIA has the best performance in the league, LOUD recently got back in the playoffs action and they wouldn’t want to lose it so fast.
