The Call of Duty League's 2022 season kicks off on February 4 with Major I's online qualifiers. Before this huge season begins, the Call of Duty League 2022 Kickoff Classic will be with us. The prize pool of the tournament, which will start on January 21 and end on January 23, is $30,000.
Here's everything you need to know about the Call of Duty League 2022 Kickoff Classic, a series of showcase matches to celebrate the start of the third season of the Call of Duty League.
Call of Duty League 2022 Kickoff Classic format and teams
The teams will compete against each other in a single elimination bracket. The matches will be Bo5. Teams that are more successful than others in the 2021 season will start from the quarterfinals, while other teams will start from the round of 12.

Looking at the participating teams, the most notable one is last season's champion Atlanta FaZe. Toronto Ultra, Minnesota RØKKR, OpTic Texas and New York Subliners are also serious contenders for the Kickoff Classic championship. Los Angeles Thieves is another team that is highly likely to be successful in the round of 12, apart from the New York Subliners.
