FaZe Clan might have been denied victory at the BLAST Premier Fall Finals following their 2-1 loss to Heroic, but their very own Helvijs "broky" Saukants has been crowned the event’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).

Broky's team FaZe Clan might have been denied victory at the BLAST Fall Finals, but they'll be attending the World Finals on December 14-18 in a bid to make up for that defeat. You'll be able to see how they get on right here on Luckbox - sign up now to claim your 100% bonus!
BLAST Fall Finals 2022 MVP
The 21 year old received his second MVP award following his excellent performance at the BLAST Fall Finals, where the team more than made up for its disappointing showing back at the Rio Major earlier this month.
Despite falling short at the grand finals, FaZe has had an excellent week - dominating both the group stage and the playoffs, and came tantalisingly close to getting their hands on the BLAST Premier trophy in an incredibly close match against Heroic.
And the team owes much of their success to broky, who averaged a 1.29 rating over the ten maps FaZe played at this week’s tournament. While the Latvian player maintained an excellent performance throughout the Fall Finals, he particularly shone in FaZe’s match against OG, with a rating of 1.55.
His performance during FaZe Clan vs Ninjas in Pyjamas was particularly memorable, however. Broky was instrumental in turning FaZe’s fortunes around that match, when he and teammate Håvard “rain” Nygaard found themselves in a 2v4 against the Swedish team.
In a stunning turnaround, broky was able to no-scope Ninjas in Pyjamas’ Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen through the smoke on the B site of Overpass, freeing up FaZe’s surviving two to push forward. Broky was able to take down Fredrik “REZ” Sterner, while rain handled the remaining player on the site.
Hampus “hampus” Poser, Ninjas in Pyjamas’ sole surviving player, was too far away - leaving FaZe Clan an open window to defuse the bomb and win the map. FaZe were the ultimate winner of that semi final match, beating Ninjas in Pyjamas in a 2-1 victory.
He may not have been enough to bring FaZe to victory at the grand final, but his amazing performance this week is worthy of note.
That might be it for the BLAST Fall Finals, but there’s still some amazing CS:GO action on the horizon. Broky will be joining FaZe Clan at the BLAST Premier World Finals, taking place from December 14 to December 18.
