BLAST will hold a CS:GO Major for the first time

We've all been following BLAST tournaments with excitement for years. They have always maintained the highest level of competition in CS:GO when major tournaments were not held. Now it's their turn to organize the Major. BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 will take place in May 2023.

Today, we'll take a look at how BLAST has organized tournaments before, and then the details of BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.

BLAST has been organizing tournaments since 2017

BLAST, one of CS:GO's leading tournament organizers, first set out on this path with the BLAST Pro Series. We all remember the BLAST Pro Series. It was first held in Copenhagen in 2017.

The tournament, which was held a total of 10 times in many leading cities of the world, last ended in 2019 in Copenhagen, and BLAST organized their first S Tier tournament, BLAST Pro Series: Global Final 2019.

After that, the BLAST Premier started. BLAST Premier is held twice a year, in Spring and Fall. At the end of the Regular season (Groups), the successful teams qualify for the Finals, while the relatively unsuccessful teams take part in the Showdown. Showdown tournaments are in A Tier, while Regular Season (Groups) and Finals are in S Tier tournament classification.

At the end of each year, a World Final is held once. For example, the upcoming World Final will be played in December 2022. With all these tournaments, BLAST, one of the favourite tournament organizers of CS:GO fans, will host a Major this time.
