The 12 teams featured in BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022 are split into three groups. All matches are played Bo1 and teams are placed on the play-in stage according to their performance in their groups. The last chance stage will be played in a single-elimination bracket. All matches will be Bo3. The winners will go to the Spring Finals and the losers to the Spring Showdown.

BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022 matches and schedule

Group A

  • G2 Esports - Complexity (January 28 - 15:00 CET)
  • BIG - Ninjas in Pyjamas (January 28 - 16:00 CET)
  • Upper bracket final (January 28 - 17:30 CET)
  • Lower bracket round 1 (January 28 - 18:30 CET)
  • Lower bracket final (January 28 - 20:00 CET)
  • Grand final (January 28 - 21:30 CET)

The favorite team of Group A seems to be G2 Esports. Their biggest rivals seem to be NIP and BIG, respectively. Complexity will be the surprise chaser of the group.

Group B

  • Natus Vincere - MIBR (January 29 - 15:00 CET)
  • Astralis - OG (January 29 - 16:00 CET)
  • Upper bracket final (January 29 - 17:30 CET)
  • Lower bracket round 1 (January 29 - 18:30 CET)
  • Lower bracket final (January 29 - 20:00 CET)
  • Grand final (January 29 - 21:30 CET)

I think we all know the favourite of Group B: NAVI. Astralis, which is a bit far from the performances of their old times, will try to catch up with those old days. While OG is one of the compelling teams of the group, Brazilian team MIBR will try to frustrate expectations.

Group C

  • Team Vitality - Evil Geniuses (January 30 - 15:00 CET)
  • FaZe Clan - Team Liquid (January 30 - 16:00 CET)
  • Upper bracket final (January 30 - 17:30 CET)
  • Lower bracket round 1 (January 30 - 18:30 CET)
  • Lower bracket final (January 30 - 20:00 CET)
  • Grand final (January 30 - 21:30 CET)

Group C's favourite is Vitality. Their biggest rival seems to be FaZe Clan. Considering that Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid are also in Group C, we can say that a quite competitive group awaits us.

One thing is for sure, we will watch an amazing tournament ahead of IEM Katowice 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 15. If you are a true CS:GO fan, it is highly recommended that you do not miss BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022.
